Welder needed for construction company


Coggins & Sons, Inc. is a caisson drilling and shoring contractor located in Littleton, Colorado. We have jobsites located throughout the Denver area as well as the entire Rocky Mountain region. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team on a long term basis and work their way up the ranks in our company.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Must be willing to work any required overtime and weekends as needed to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.

This position starts at $18+/hour depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance after 60 days and company profit sharing retirement plan following 3 years with the company.

Job duties/
Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain caisson and earth retention drilling equipment
Construction welding
Fabrication
Load and unload steel trucks, equipment and tool trucks
Flexible enough to adhere to specialized safety rules as well as other Job Specific rules encountered



Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to various jobsites (Class A or B CDL and a clean driving record is a plus)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass drug screenings (pre-employment and random)
Must be available for out of town work
Minimum of 2 years stick welding experience
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to show up to work on time every day
Ability to receive direction and work with others as a team

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
