The ideal candidate has a take-charge personality and a reputation for getting things done. Responsible for managing the Senior Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Technicians who support the companies' clubs. This position works closely with the operations team to ensure all maintenance issues are captured and resolved promptly. This includes driving maintenance result throughout the region and leading performance expectations throughout the maintenance team. This position is critical in supporting and maintaining safe, clean, and fully functioning facilities throughout the operation. This role is instrumental in our member brand experience. DELIVERABLESThe deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for driving pace and consistency for maintenance in each of the clubs for the region Drive performance management expectations of both Senior Maintenance Tech and Maintenance Techs following the VASA Leadership framework. Lead the hiring of Maintenance and Senior Maintenance Technicians, including submitting job requisition requests for Maintenance Tech and Senior Tech vacancies Travel throughout the region to ensure consistency in the maintenance support of the goal of operational excellence MANAGEMENT Provide consistent accountability for Senior Maintenance Techs through training, coaching, conducting planning sessions, and performance reviews Hold Senior Maintenance Techs accountable for driving and delivering results Consistent field training with each Senior Tech Recognize superior performance and discipline when necessary Collaborate with Senior Techs for external contractor work. Maintain X workflow management, consistently and timely Schedule and deploy Master Technician Resource and supply vendor selection Develop and mentor Senior Maintenance Tech leadership skills Ensure Maintenance Techs are following training guidelines ADMINISTRATION Approve Timecard, PTO (Paid Time Off), and Mileage requests. Invoice and payment approval. Track maintenance certifications and requirements for each market. Quarterly evaluations of Senior Maintenance Techs Schedule and lead special projects Provide weekly project updates and staffing reports via email to District Managers and Regional Directors Inform of any updates or changes to maintenance procedures or scope Technician Development Develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules Technician Development Develop Preventative Maintenance Schedules Recommended Skills Administration Hardworking And Dedicated Leadership Maintenance Operational Excellence Passionate Apply to this job.
