Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesJoin DISH Wireless' Regulatory Engineering and Operations team as a Senior CALEA Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing our Lawful Access platform.
Reporting directly to the Head of Regulated Services, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, conducting rigorous testing, and adeptly troubleshooting any issues that arise.
The ideal candidate must possess prior experience with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) within the wireless telecommunications industry.
The role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the DISH Wireless CALEA platform in compliance with applicable U.
S.
laws and FCC regulations.
In this role, you will:
Leverage a clear understanding of environmental and CALEA requirements impacting 5G wireless networks.
Support regulatory services core network functions across a cutting-edge cloud-native standalone 5G network.
Oversee change management to minimize network impacts to CALEA services, including MOP and test case reviews.
Manage vendor relationships and performance.
Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) discussions and process improvements.
Participate in architecture roadmap and technology planning.
Support preparation of regulatory agency applications, reports, or correspondence for internal owners.
Oversee compliance reporting in accordance with regulatory standards.
Skills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful Senior Network Engineer of CALEA, you will have:
Current Top Secret clearance status or the ability to receive and maintain such clearance levelBachelor s degree in Engineering, Science, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.

years of wireless engineering or operations experience; relevant experience accepted without a degree.
Demonstrated career progression and skill development.
Strong verbal, written, and critical thinking skills; able to collaborate as a regulatory subject matter expert.
Experience with incident management, Root Cause Analysis, and KPIs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
Extensive CALEA compliance experience in telecommunications, leadership experience, and AWS proficiency#LI-CS6Salary RangesCompensation:
$96,250.

Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
