Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Head of Service Measurement & Benchmarking supports technical objectives and goals of the business as it relates to capturing customer experience using service measurement KPIs from the network, device applications, and benchmark measurements by leveraging existing and new technology in the network.
This role will work closely with many engineering, technology, and operations functions in the organization to align the network planning and performance activities.
The Head Service Measurement & Benchmarking manages a small team within the broader function of Network Development & Integration, developing major goals to support broader functional objectives.
The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in a variety of the wireless field s concepts, practices and procedures.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Be the 5G Wireless End to End Service Measurement KPI Expert in Dish Wireless to interpret network performance and map with customer experience.
Define and ensure that End to End 5G Wireless Service Measure KPIs have qualitative and mathematical definition inclusive of 5G layer 3 messages and corresponding counters in the solution.
Creates consistent counter definition and KPI formulas accross multiple vendor within the same domain.
Drive Wireless Partners to evolve service measurements KPIs through new software releases to enable measurements to capture near end customer user experiences.
Support development of tooling and reporting for Wireless System Performance for use in various domains and functions and Dish Wireless.
Accountable for ensuring accuracy of DISH 5G network performance data leveraged by DISH stakeholders to make technical and business decisions.
Own end to end responsibility to ensure data is captured in centralized repository to generate DISH 5G network performance reporSupport technical and operational objectives and goals of the business as it relates to the evolution of network service measurements over 24 months horizon.
Identify KPIs that are critical to Customer Experience, Operational Availability, Operational Efficiencies, Performance Management, and Capacity and Traffic planning and management.
POC for KPI requirements for new technology introduction working closely with Engineering, Operations, and various functional organizationsLead Benchmarking efforts to highlight the performance of Dish Wireless network vis-a-vis other mobile networks based on various Quality of Service (QoS) parameters laid down by the business.
Develop and publish recommendations on areas where Dish Wireless must focus to improve customer experience.
Skills, Experience and RequirementsMaster s (desired) or bachelor's (required) degree in either Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Wireless Systems Engineering.
10 or more years of experience with E2E network planning and operational experienceHands-On Experience in 4G/5G Protocol Analysis and Counter DefinitionExtensive knowledge of radio access technologies, Core, IP and devicesRAN, Core, IP Network and cloud computing and implementation experienceDemonstrable experience in automating planning and performance activitiesDemonstrated experience in OSS and performance management systems and architecturesGood understanding of full lifecycle management of technology from sunrise to sunset in wireless networks Good understanding of mobile network operator and deployment architecture, and security requirementsCandidate must have a strong leadership skills, written and oral communication, and strong problem-solving abilitiesSalary Range Compensation:
$133,000.
00/Year - $190,000.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
