The foundation of a connected world, it's a network free of the limitations of the past, and flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of the changing world Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWe're seeking an addition to our Development & Assurance team at DISH Wireless to bolster our 5G RF capabilities.
This role involves serving as the subject matter expert for our 5G network roadmap, debugging, and testing.
Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing standards and certification requirements for compliance and defining the evolution of RF features based on 3GPP standards.
The successful candidate will actively participate in technical discussions and standard milestones within DISH.
In this role, you will:
Generate RF standards and test specifications in strategic areas Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate new technologies and standards into product launches on DISH's wireless network Develop technical contributions and advocate for advances in wireless technology Participate in knowledge transfer and stay updated on new technology and technical areas Support network architecture peers and OEM business partners with expertise #LI-BF1 Skills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful RF Engineer, you will have:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science or electrical engineering) 8
years of experience in wireless, including work with delegations and standards (PhD Fellowships or similar programs count toward required experience) Advanced knowledge of industry technical standards such as 3GPP 5G, FCC, GSMA eSIM, and 5GAA Solid understanding of 3GPP RF, L2/L3 (including MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, etc.
), or non-access stratum and related features up to 3GPP Release 16 Ability to interpret 3GPP specifications and global telecommunications regulations for device certification processes Experience in startup environments, big data, or network analytics Salary RangesCompensation:
$110,100.
00/Year - $180,900.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
