This position is Full-Time.
Initial schedule is somewhat flexible but we strive for the schedule to be consistent.
Looking for someone with a background in exceptional customer service.
This is not an entry level position but no veterinary specific experience is required.
The client service representative (receptionist) position is the MOST IMPORTANT job in the hospital! You are the client's first and last impression.
You get to mold their entire experience so this is not a position to be taken lightly! CSRs respond to emails, access multiple dashboards and applications, schedule appointments, greet clients, check clients out, keep the lobby stocked and organized, scan and fax records.
The CSRs are responsible for refilling prescriptions, answer basic pet health questions and recording client conversation and notes in the digital medical record.
Again this is a touch job full of multi-tasking and working in a fast paced environment.
The following things are a must to be considered:
Client communication and people skills Superior phone skills Computer savvy Compassion & Empathy Multi-tasking The ability to anticipate clients' needs.
Ability to handle multiple inbound calls in a switchboard like atmosphere Quick learn OR already have an understanding of veterinary terminology and recommendations Adaptability and a upbeat attitude We like to boast that we treat our staff really well around here!
