This position performs highly responsible work that will promote quality patient care and efficiency.
The speech language pathologist assistant is responsible for carrying out the treatment plan created by the licensed speech language pathologist and collaborating to ensure the best interest of the patient is pursued throughout their treatment.
The speech language pathologist assistant will also collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, therapists, BCBAs, school staff, and parents to provide holistic services.

Assures continuation of therapeutic plan up to and following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, recommending and/or providing assistive equipment/ follow up programs.
Promptly and thoroughly documents and maintains clinical and administrative records regarding patient limitations/interventions, treatments, responses and progress to administered therapy as well as discharge summaries.
Maintains patient records confidentially.
Records treatment charges daily and completes documentation in accurate and timely manner.
Complies with the applicable State Speech Therapy Practice Act, codes and regulations.
Attend team meetings and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic services.
Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts.
Qualifications Current State Speech Language Pathology Assistant license Current CPR certification Efficient problem-solving skills Exceptional communication skills and time management skills Must keep best interest of the client and family at the forefront of all activities Collaborative nature Allegiance to the mission, values, and vision of the organization Recruiter :
