00/yrPosition Introduction/Key DutiesCimarron is seeking mid-level and senior-level Reliability Engineers to support the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program in Littleton, CO.
NGI is an interceptor development within the Missile Defense Agency's Ground-based Midcourse Defense system and is one of the most critical systems serving to protect the U.
S.
This position supports a 9 X 80 work schedule (i.
e.
every other Friday off) and is a hybrid role that will allow for some remote work (i.
e.
work from home a few days a week)!Key Duties:
Support the Systems Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Reliability Organization.
Work with many engineering disciplines to ensure the program product designs meet customer reliability, Built-In Test (BIT), availability, service life, and reliability growth requirements.
Support efforts in the areas of reliability, maintainability, availability, testability, and reliability growth by providing reliability allocations, reliability analysis, BIT analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMECA), reliability critical items, reliability growth planning, and Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Work with a geographically dispersed team while maintaining self-accountability and flexibility.
Interact closely with government customers, supply chain authorities, and management.
Apply, maintain, and execute the Reliability program plan.
Work with Domain Experts in various fields and perform analyses at all levels of the total system product over its life cycle, from concept through production and up to disposal.
Interpret and allocate system requirements into reliability models.
Perform and assist in trade studies, technical planning, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Active Secret Clearance.
5 or more years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with Reliability Handbooks (HDBKs) and Standards (i.
e.
, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-1629, MIL-STD-1543, MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-HDBK-472).
Experience creating Reliability Predictions, independently completing Reliability Analysis, and interpreting and/or applying reliability requirements.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
Additional Required Skills, Experience, and Education for Senior-level:
Experience leading teams, projects, or technical reliability studies.
Experience evaluating engineering design concepts.
Experience mentoring junior employees 9 or more years of related experience.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
Active/Current Top Secret Clearance.
Experience creating, maintaining, and/or delivering the following:
Reliability program plans Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Critical Items list Availability, Maintainability Analysis and Predictions including Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Built-in-test design Analysis and verification Fault Tree Analysis Probability Risk Assessment (PRA) Application of probability and statistics to support decisions regarding sample size Burn-in life testing and failure analysis investigations, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Dormancy effects Stockpile Reliability Testing Explaining sophisticated RAMT (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Testability) concepts in simple terms Experience interacting with military customers.
Spacecraft/missile experience.
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to tackle problems and implement constructive change.
Experience with missile or space segment design and testing with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
Experience with RAMT and PRA (Probabilistic Risk Assessment) modeling software.
