Job Duties and Responsibilities DISH Wireless is seeking a Manager of Network Engineering to oversee a team of engineers supporting our nationwide network deployment and engineering.
This role is a key part of our business, with a unique opportunity to implement and optimize the latest networking solutions.
The successful candidate will drive implementation of new cell site connectivity architectures and investigation, correction, and testing of cell site network connectivity issues.
This work is driven through normal ticketing and network engineering projects.
He or she will collaborate cross-functionally with the Network Operations Center, Integration War Room, OnPrem Network Engineering, Network Security, Network Automation, Traffic/Transport Engineering, and Performance Management teams.
In this role, you will:
Build and maintain a proficient team of network engineers Monitor support and escalation requests and prioritize across the team Document and maintain processes and procedures required for normal day-today operations Provide technical leadership for complex project work LI-HMM Skills, Experience and Requirements As a Manager of Network Engineering candidates, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering preferred, or five plus years of professional experience in large enterprise or service provider space; Professional networking certifications a plus - CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIE or equivalent; Public cloud certifications a plus - advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent; Five or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space; Successful Manager of Network Engineering candidates have knowledge in:
Leading a team through commitment, vision, motivation, and empowerment.
Communicating effectively internally with employees and externally with other teams and vendors Effectively managing multiple priorities Technical network related areas such as:
Service provider IP routing Network deployment and operations automation Network timing and synchronization Salary Range Compensation:
$87,500.
00/Year - $125,000.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the roles location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
