General Purpose The Lending Applications Analyst is responsible for planning and developing systems and workflows that support the business needs of the consumer lending and mortgage teams.
He/she will review and analyze user functions and activities, evaluate available resources and current systems, implement and administer appropriate solutions.
They will also provide leadership in creating, monitoring, reviewing, and updating processes and procedures for the group.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities Administer lending systems to ensure security including user authorization, access, passwords and general maintenance.
Review and analyze organizational business needs; confer with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions and develop plan of approach.
Write system rules and coding to support business and compliance needs.
Analyze and design decision engine logic, screen layouts, reports, and testing criteria to support development of new or enhancement to existing lending systems.
Act as the primary business lead for lending systems and applications.
Continuously review processes for added efficiency opportunities.
Coordinate testing and evaluation of new processes.
Implement process changes or new lending applications as needed.
Prepare program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications.
Develop and prepare user materials for the purpose of providing instruction and reference.
Work with internal and external partners to conduct and coordinate user acceptance, performance stress, regression and integration testing; make changes and corrections as needed.
Update and maintain current lending systems policies and procedures.
Lead structured walk-through and other activities to review systems and provide training and support.
Perform ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs; identify problems in order to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
Provide the highest level of quality service to all internal and external members.
Exhibit support for the organization's goals, values, initiatives and cost control.
Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other compliance requests and requirements.
Follow all safety and security guidelines to properly safeguard member and organization assets.
Embrace ongoing education and learn/apply new skills and software applications.
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
Strong understanding of lending processes and workflows.
Strong working knowledge and continuing update of knowledge of Encompass, Symitar, Temenos, and other applicable systems.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to explain programs, loan terms, features, policies and benefits to customer and business partners.
Strong relationship building and teamwork skills with ability to develop and maintain consultative and cooperative relationships with Canvas staff and external vendors/partners.
Proven ability to recommend and champion changes to processes, procedures, workflows and systems.
Proven ability to develop project plans, coordinate and complete projects on time and within budget.
Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to maintain confidences.
Pre-employment background review (components include:

Education or Formal Training:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Management, Marketing, or related education and work experience.
Experience:
Three to five years of technical or lending experience leading teams to pilot, test, measure, and implement systems and applications changes.
Encompass administrator certification is strongly desired.
Prior experience in project management or process improvement strongly desired.
The starting pay range for this position is $70,000.
00-$85,000.
00, and final pay rate will be determined based on experience and internal equity factors.

Working Environment/Physical Activities High volume, fast-paced, dynamic office environment with some travel.
Must be able to attend meetings/events outside of regular business hours.
The job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, copiers, fax machines and filing cabinets.
The position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
The position requires bending, stooping, or standing as necessary.
