Qualified external RCIS applicants with at least 6 months of experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign on bonus! Some exclusions may apply.

You must be hired into a Full-Time or Part-time position; PRN positions are not eligible.
Schedule:
Four 10 hour shifts per week.
Additional call is required.

As an RCIS at Centura Health, you will assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Lives within 30 minutes for On Call, required Availability to pick up 1 weekend per month and 2 days during the week for On Call, required One year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience, preferred.
Special procedures experience, preferred A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or Graduate of a accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology also acceptable-required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT required Will consider candidates without registry for non-registered CV Lab Specialist position Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) required Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of Hire Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:

The Cardiac Cath Lab at Littleton Adventist Hospital unit has two Cath Labs (50 cases/month) and five pre/post/minor procedural bays (30 procedures/month).
We mainly do diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.
We also do device (Pacemaker and ICD) implants as well.
We have a mix of inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Room volume.
We have a great culture within the department.
All associates get along and work well together as a team and are very supportive of new members.
We have zero turnover and some of the highest patient and associate satisfaction scores in the hospital.
We look for someone who is hardworking and flexible with their schedule with the ability to take call.
We need someone with critical thinking skills, can adapt to new technologies, works well in a fast-paced environment and has a great sense of humor.
