The Stocker will be responsible for stocking shelves and maintaining shelves in the warehouse.
Responsibilities Stock shelves and maintain shelves in the warehouse Clean and organize stock rooms and restock the warehouse Maintain temperature control in refrigeration, freezer, and freezers Maintain temperature control in kitchen, pantry, and freezer Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and warehouse areas Maintain cleanliness of stock room and outside storage area Ensure that all products are properly labeled Perform general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Follow all company policies and procedures Adhere to all health, safety, sanitation, and environmental standards Skills Proven work experience as a Warehouse employee Basic understanding of inventory procedures and inventory management methods such as inventory software.
Inventory software includes ACT, ERP, WMS.
Inventory software will be required to use when training.
Ability to handle stock inventory of up to 12 hours per day.
General understanding of safe work practices such as standing on feet for long periods of time, walking on uneven concrete surfaces, handling heavy objects, etc.
Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills with the ability to properly communicate with coworkers.
