Responsibilities include requirements review and assessment, test procedure and automated test development, test implementation and troubleshooting, and test data review in order to validate complex software engineering solutions. Responsible for frequent use, and application of software engineering standards and techniques, including Object Oriented Design and Agile development techniques. Will work in a highly collaborative environment with frequent and direct interaction with peers and occasional customer interactions.Experience with C/C++, Python, WindRiver and Linux OS, and Object-Oriented design is preferred. Strong ability to perform on a small highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. The preferred candidate must work under general supervision, multi-task, adapt to change, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with algorithm/object-oriented development is also desirable. Occasional odd and/or extended hours may be required to meet program milestones.In this role you will:o Conduct software test planning, perform functional software testing, automated software testing, system administration, or technical analysis.o Analyze requirements and work with subject matter experts to identify functional and/or performance test cases.o Evaluate test results and provide feedback to team members and project stakeholders.o Learn new tools independently.o Identify opportunities for improvement in current processes and implement new processes.o Deliver strong communication skills (written & verbal); ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.o Participate in an Agile development team.o Create testing environmentso Create and manage test documentationo Identify test gaps/risks and propose tests to fill gapso Create schedules for testing and test completionApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Basic
Qualifications:o Experience supporting the development of flight vehicle GNC/FSW architectures.o Experience designing and documenting applications test plans.o Coordinate execution of SW unit, integration, and performance tests to verify system operation.o Demonstrated experience designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.Desired Skills:o Develop test plans and procedures for software testing, including integration/execution, detailed data analysis, and preparation of software test reports.o Programming background in C/C+
