Responsibilities:
Complete disassembly of the vehicle to examine the damages to plan the repair process.
Works and communicates with others to keep all vehicles on schedule for on-time delivery.
Performing complete light to heavy repairs, including structural repairs Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
Makes decisions on repair vs.
replace considering safety, cost and cycle time.
Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
Attend daily release meetings Experience/Skill Requirements:
Skilled Auto Body Technician with great attention to detail and quality Certification in body repair preferred.
Ability to work in a high volume shop environment Ability to manage time and workflow of cars Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
I-CAR welding certified preferred.
Strong, consistent attention to detail.
Positive, can-do attitude with the desire to work in a team setting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Essential physical requirements include:
Ability to stoop, bend and kneel, squat, kneel and pulling Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) Standing, sitting and walking Performing repetitive motions WORK ENVIRONMENT Exposure to:
Paint, fumes and particles Dirt / Dust Chemicals / Toxins Varying heat / cold Intermittent noise Job Type:
