POSITION OVERVIEW Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an immediate opening for a dynamic Roadway Engineer in our growing Design Engineering Services (DES) Group based in Lone Tree, CO. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. DISTRICT OVERVIEW Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. LOCATION This role will be based out of Kiewit's Lone Tree, CO (South Denver area) office. RESPONSIBILITIES o Lead highway and civil design tasks, acting in responsible charge as needed o Supervise, mentor and evaluate junior staff o Oversee creation of surface models utilizing InRoads, Civil3D and/or other similar design software. o Lead interdisciplinary design coordination to ensure that project elements are compatible o Create preliminary design concepts and alternatives for highways and civil features to support cost estimating. o Lead project technical meetings, provide coordination to resolve design issues o Execute final design of project elements such as roadway geometrics, roadway design plans, signing and marking plans, maintenance of traffic plans, wall plan and profile sheets QUALIFICATIONS o 7
years of civil / highway design experience with an emphasis on design-build projects o Registered as a Professional Engineer o Experience designing civil/highway infrastructure or similar projects o Familiarity with design-build delivery is preferred o Working knowledge of AutoCAD platforms o Experience developing construction plans for transportation projects is preferred o Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing Additional Requirements:

$92,091 - $138,137 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Civil EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
